Thryve.Earth has raised USD 2.6 million in seed funding to scale its regionally grounded, technology-first platform for nature-based climate solutions. The round was led by Openspace Ventures, with participation from Capital Code and strategic angels, bringing the company’s total funding to USD 3.4 million.
The investment will support the expansion of Thryve’s digital infrastructure integrating ecological science, remote sensing, and machine learning to streamline the design and management of carbon projects. It will also enable growth across Asia and Latin America, and support hiring across key functions including science, operations, and delivery.
To date, Thryve has partnered with over 500 landowners and field organisations, building a pipeline of projects spanning more than 400,000 hectares. These include agroforestry, reforestation, and avoided deforestation initiatives in regions such as Indonesia, Brazil, and Africa. If fully implemented, they could generate over 3.6 million carbon credits annually while supporting biodiversity, food security, and livelihoods.
Investors see Thryve as bridging a critical gap in the voluntary carbon market by aligning field actors, science, and finance through an integrated platform. With this momentum, the team is focused on scaling project development, onboarding partners, and enhancing features to support investor due diligence and monitoring.
